We are all about mindful marriage and we believe that your ceremony is the perfect place to mark the milestone of your love for one another. You’ve spent so much time building your relationship, but chances are you’ve never put your story and your feelings to words quite in this way. We love helping couples connect, reflect, and externalize their relationship with us so that we can write a ceremony that is current and alive with the love you’ve cultivated. In the process we laugh a lot, dig deep, and replace prosaic ceremony traditions with deeply meaningful words and practices.

We consult with you to create a custom ceremony that captures what makes you unique: your story, your quirks, your talents, your ambitions, and the little rituals that say a lot about your love. We walk through an interactive editing process to refine the details, then show up all smiles to share with your loved ones.

Morning Mindfulness
If you want to start your day off with a clear head and grounded energy, then this is the option for you. We create a custom yoga or meditation practice for your loved ones, then give big hugs before we get dressed and proceed to the ceremony.

We had the absolute pleasure of spending time with Kate from Tapestry Event Co. as she wrote a heartfelt ceremony for us and was our officiant on elopement day. Let me first say, Kate is blessed with a positive, kind, and infectious personality that makes you feel like she has been your friend for years. From our first consult with Kate, we knew she’d be the perfect person to share our special moment with us. She took the time to learn about us and put those intentional moments in the ceremony. Kate agreed to join us on our adventure elopement, where we traveled to Mt. Rainier and hiked up saddle peak for the ceremony. For that we are grateful as the conversations were rich, laughter was shared, and tears flowed.

Our Officiant and Creative Director has been officiating ceremonies since 2017. We have seen a variety of different ceremonies and here to nurture your vision as it welcomes this new chapter in your relationship.

We take on between five and ten officiant couples per year. Because we focus on a good client fit, rather than for a certain kind of project, our annual schedule looks different year-to-year and keeps us on the move in the summer months. Please know that we do not take on back-to-back dates, nor do we take on more than two projects in a week; we like to keep our work-life-travel balance in a happy place and to be 100% present for each of our amazing couples.

We do, and here’s why: All of our couples have a unique location for their celebration. We love that our couples defy the one-size-fits-all archetype of weddings. So just like we customize your planning process, so too do we customize your travel fee to make sure it’s an exact fit for the adventure required. For estimate purposes, you can calculate about $2.00 per mile for travel from Seattle to any location in the Pacific Northwest. This fee covers gas, mileage, food, and accommodations when required. Out of state and international travel is calculated on a case-by-case basis.

We sure do! Payment plans make the world go ’round. We typically split our total fee up into two installments. That said, we are open and flexible to other arrangements on a case-by-case basis.

Let’s do it! We love spending more time and deepening our relationships with our couples. During our consultation, we will discover which package fits your needs right now. If, further down the line, you decide you want more support, then we are here for you. We can easily upgrade your original package or add on services a la carte for a perfectly supportive ceremony experience.

Love the enthusiasm! Make sure you put a consultation on the calendar so we can get to know you, your vision, and your values. After the consultation, we will send you a proposal where you can place your deposit, sign the contract, and start your journey to marriage. LET THE CONSULTATION BEGIN!
Deep and authentic human connection is our thing, which is why we become trusted friends and allies of yours in the lead up to your big day. Our priority is to “get you” equally and intimately. When we officiate, we create a custom kick-off to your marriage legacy that reflects who you are as individuals, how you love and operate as a unit, and what you are committed to in your adventures to come. Our creative process enables us to capture what makes your bond unique and treasured. We don’t put you in a box or fit you into a script. We put words to your culture as a couple.
Where We're coming from?
Our Tapestry Team is unavailable to plan weddings that do not consider the safety and abilities of all guests and vendors. We intentionally work only with couples who support an inclusive experience for all involved, making efforts which may look like (but certainly aren’t limited to):
Communicating clear event expectations to guests
Setting boundaries for healthy gatherings
Proactively creating policies to address disruptive behaviors
Checking in to ensure enthusiastic participation
While we are passionate about the outdoors, we are not exclusively an adventure wedding and elopement company. We are primarily a planning company that works in unique and meaningful spaces that often intersect with Mother Nature, whether they are indoor or outdoor venues, holding both ourselves and our couples to high standards, regardless of the location.
